Escape Plan (2013)

Escape Plan' Review: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone Together at Last

We rented 5 movies at the Redbox this weekend, one of which was Escape Plan The Extractors without knowing it was the third instalment of the movie Escape Plan, which was released in 2013. We skipped The Extractors in order to watch the first instead.

Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) owns a security firm that tests the security of prisons to see if inmates can escape. He gets a job offer to test a new secret facility that is top secret. He nor his employees can know where he is. Against the wishes of everyone, Breslin takes the job. They steal him from the street, bound him and stuff him into a van blindfolded. He wakes up in a steel jungle prison and realized that this was not a job but a kidnapping. He befriends another inmate, Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to help escape.

Glad to see Rocky and Commando are still awesome in action films. Age doesn’t mean a thing with guys like these two. This film was enjoyable and stressful.

And how can you not love a movie where Arnold says, “HAVE A LOVELY DAY, ASSHOLE.”

Gotta love Arnold.
