The Rock is an action star among the greats like Stallone and Schwarzenegger. He is seriously becoming one of my favorite actors. It is not just about muscles. His personality shines in almost every movie he makes.
Will Sawyer (The Rock), a U.S. Marine war veteran, is working as a private security consultant and his hired to review the security on a 255-story tower called “The Pearl”. Before he could even start the job, his friend a fellow war vet turns on him to steal the tablet that has the tower’s security program. The terrorists begin a fire in the middle of the building and lock down the security protocols in order to bring down the tower. Sawyer’s family are in the building and can not get out. He no longer cares about the building but saving his family.
Movies like this a so suspenseful that I am on the edge of my seat the entire more. Plus, I am not used to seeing Neve Campbell in a roll like this. Every second of this movie is high energy and full of action.
Definitely enjoyable from beginning to end.
