Salt (2010)

Career, Uninterrupted: Salt (2010) - Midwest Film Journal

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I honestly thought I would not like this movie and was only going to see it because we had free tickets to see in the theater before opening weekend and because Elisabeth wanted to see it. It was nothing of what I excepted and had enough twists and turns to make it not so predictable. Lots of action and really not a lot of down time. James Bond meets Mission Impossible.

UPDATED: I don’t give many movies a 5 star rating, but when I movie keeps me totally engaged each time I watch it and I come out of a movie going WHOA!!!! then it deserves that extremely rare 5 star rating.

Angelina Jolie is one of those actresses that is just awesome in a action role, even though there is debate over that. This movie was to originally have Tom Cruise, that would have blown. Angie makes it… and NOOOOO I am so not one of those Jolie fans that loves everything she does.

This movie was through and through an awesome thriller spy movie that kept you guess which side of the fence does she fall on. The story was easy to follow, intriguing, and captivating. For those who are against Angie in an action role, stop looking at her and watch the damn movie.
